“Cleopatra between myth and reality” is an exhibition in the Roman camp in the Zeughaus. It shows media representations of the Egyptian ruler and explains historical facts. And thus traces the real person Cleopatra. But what is the real person? My performance for the exhibition focuses on Cleopatra as a projection screen for unfulfilled wishes, desires and longings. Cleopatra can be anything and so at the end of the performance the audience is invited to draw their own picture of Cleopatra.
